Barking | Lunging at Dogs
"It's fun to watch Gazi's progress...I've been doing what you told me, and it's definitely working... I've actually started to notice that he's paying less attention to dogs in his sightline...he's far more interested in me (and my pepperoni, let's be clear :) I took Gazi to the vet last week, and even the vet said he had improved--so kudos to you!"

New Puppy
"Just to let you know, you rule when it comes to puppies!
Thanks!"

Basic Manners
"I am thankful that your approach to training Dooley was friendly and holistic - simultaneously addressing my confidence and concerns and Dooley's needs. As a first-time dog owner, you provided me with effective training tools, which allowed him to quickly adapt to me and his new home. I have gratefully recommended Op Barks to many of my friends and acquaintances."

Anxious | Escape Artist
"Thank you for helping us to reduce Shadow's separation anxiety and her self destructive behavior while in the crate. Your help developing a structured program to create a positive association with the crate has completely changed her attitude. She now spends time in there voluntarily and runs right in as part of our normal morning routine. As new dog owners with no experience in dog training, we could not have made it without your help."

Barking | Lunging at Dogs
"Work with Eli is progressing well, we have been clicking away on the walks and keeping our distance from other dogs (mostly, with a handful of exceptions). Even when he "goes off" upon encountering another dog, it is much briefer and we are able to "bring him back", move him along and get him focused on us.
A couple times we did sight other dogs, he alerted, and I was able to get his attention, click and reward, and move on. Not a single bark or pulling on the leash. Definite progress. I can see this will take awhile but am very encouraged by the constant progress."

Nipping and Housebreaking
"Thanks so much for meeting with Virgil & me - Penelope thanks you too. We are following your instructions and the rewarding for all good behavior and enrichment really work with her. The 1st week of training went great!
Absolutely no accidents since we started this. In fact, Penelope now uses her papers without being reminded and comes and reports to me so she gets her treat.
The nipping and biting has reduced significantly - most of the time she stops when told to sit so she gets a reward. Penelope is much happier with all of the increased activity and is thriving on the reward system."

Reactive toward Dogs
"When our friendly golden retriever, Abby, became overly protective during my pregnancy, we worked with Op Barks to get Abby back to her old self. We can now go back to walking the neighborhood, knowing we can easily control Abby's behavior towards other dogs."

Basic Manners
"Buddy is doing great! We have implemented so many of your recommendations, and he is a more relaxed, better behaved dog every day. Thanks so much!"

Housebreaking
"Things are going very well! Rocco has only had one poop accident (and no pee accidents) since you met with us. He is so excited whenever he uses the pad, because he knows he's going to get a very special treat (bacon, liver, etc.). It is so funny to see him come running out of the bathroom doing his little dance to tell us that he's used the 'potty'. We've been taking him outside more now that the weather is nice, so he goes outside a lot too. I had him at my parents' this weekend, and he didn't have one accident. He also didn't have any accidents when a friend babysat him for me while I was out of town for work for 2-3 days.
Thanks again for all of your wonderful suggestions. Patrizio and I are so pleased with the results."

Anxious | Destructive | House Soiling
"I just had to e-mail you. I just got home and was gone for about 3 and half hours. She didn't even jump on the door; there were no accidents at all. I gave them their toys with treats, cheese/peanut butter and they were still munching when I got home. She is getting better everyday with down too. Sorry to bug you with this but I am just super excited since she hasn't been alone since last week for more than an hour!
Thanks again for all your help and I'm sure she will continue to be great."

Dogs Barking In the Home when Owners Leave
"Thanks again for coming over to see us. I think it has made a huge difference. Of course it has been exhausting, and it would appear that it is Vega that is the rabble rouser, but with the time both you and I have spent with her, it has made for a very noticeable improvement, so much so, I could actually make small trips to the local stores both yesterday and today without incident...Phew! Again, thank you so very much for giving me the opportunity to start relaxing again, you are a Goddess."
