Behavior Evaluations for the Shelter/Rescue Community
Leigh is available to work with the Shelter and Rescue Community to perform behavior evaluations for placement. Each animal evaluated is documented with a written evaluation and video. Placement and training recommendations are also provided. She is available bi-weekly, monthly or as needed basis to perform evaluations. Discounts offered for evaluating multiple dogs.

Dog-Dog Body Language & Enrichment
Increase your capacity by pairing up dogs, and increase your dogs' socialization and mental well-being! Learn how to do proper on leash introductions, and start to build you skills as a matchmaker. For those dogs that aren't dog friendly, we'll learn about how to keep them mentally stimulated and balanced while at your facility.
Training Staff, Training Dogs!
This hands-on workshop is for everyone that has contact with the animals. In a world where staff and volunteers seldom have time for more things to do, we'll teach them how to reinforce appropriate behavior when working with the dogs at any opportunity- in the kennel or at an adoption event.
Behavior Evaluation Training
Through demonstration, Leigh will show staff how to effectively implement and begin a behavior evaluation program with their shelter animals. Learn to identify friendly, social behavior as well as subtle red flags that may indicate aggression or lack of sociability. Overall, the experience is intended to have shelters/rescue groups adopting out safe, non-aggressive dogs that are ambassadors for shelter dogs everywhere. Ambassador dogs create great "word of mouth", which ultimately means more people going to shelters to adopt. How cool is that?
