Our Core Curriculum consists of our "Training for Life" Classes: Puppy Primer, Adult, Intermediate and Advanced Manners. We also offer Agility and Dog Star Trick Classes as well as Four Week Intensive Classes that focus on common training challenges.

Classes are semi-private and limited to no more than 6 dogs.

All classes are appropriate for social, non-aggressive dogs. All dogs must have rec'd at least their first two rounds of vaccinations to participate.

All classes meet 1 hour a week for 6 weeks. Cost $150.


Puppy Primer
Fun foundation manners for pups under 5 months. Special focus on socialization and confidence building, handling, developing attention and responsiveness during this most important stage of their development.

Curriculum: Sit, down, off/take it, attention/name game, coming when called, rewarding self-control. Lots of off leash play! House & crate training, enrichment, mouthing, jumping and all things puppy.

Adult Manners
Fun foundation manners for dogs over 5 months. We'll focus on foundation manners and self-control and learn about enrichment, body language and preventing behavior problems long term.

Curriculum: sit, down, stay, coming when called, hand targeting, name game/attention, off/take it, stay, beginning loose leash walking, coming when called. Tricks and play for fun!

Intermediate Manners
Take your beginner basics and kick it up a notch. Has it been a while? A great refresher for dogs that have taken classes in the past. We'll work on proofing your dog's manners with increased distraction (noise, excitement, movement), work towards dropping the leash, fading food rewards and have fun.

Curriculum: sit and down until released, go to your bed, settle down, wait at a threshold, stays with distraction, loose leash walking, off/take it from objects on the ground, coming when called off leash or out of play, attention and focus.

Advanced Manners
Down stays at a distance or next to other dogs. Recalls though the peanut butter gauntlet. Motivation is key in developing a reliable dog. We'll continue to fade food lures, as we develop duration with our basic manners and drop the leash. We'll also use parts of the AKC's Canine Good Citizen Test for practice.

Curriculum: stays with distance and close proximity to other dogs, go to your bed from a distance, leash walking through a crowd, recalls off leash, self control and responsiveness with a strange (new) dog, and more! Great prep work for handlers interested in the CGC Testing.

Agility for Fun I
Want to check out the dog sport agility? Come on down! Agility is a great confidence builder and outlet for active dogs that has you and your dog working as a team.

Curriculum: Agility Overview, jumps, tunnel, chutes, table, tire jump, beginning wobble/teeter work, and beginning sequences.

Agility for Fun II
Continued work and an introduction to weaves, the teeter, dog walk and A-frame.

Curriculum: Review of jumps, tunnel, chute, table, tire jump. Introduction to weaves, contact zones and beginner work with the teeter, dog walk and A-frame.

Agility for Fun III- Contacts and Weaves
Continued work with contact zones on the Teeter and A-Frame and Weaves.

Curriculum: All obstacles, focus on teeter, A-frame, and weaves. We'll work sequences and work up to running a course.

Dog Star Trick Training I:
This is a class for teaching your old new tricks and preparing for production work. Learn what behaviors to train for camera work or just for showing off!

We'll learn basic tricks and begin to free shape behaviors too.

Curriculum: basic manners on set, confidence building, targeting, sending to a spot, bow, play dead, roll over and more!

Dog Star Trick Training II: Free shape behaviors and put things on cue that your dog already knows. We'll create original tricks and advance our trick training by taking advantage of what your dog already performs well.


4-Week Intensive Classes

These four-week classes are for more intense work for common behavior & training challenges. Open to dogs of all ages. Classes meet for 1 hour a week for 4 weeks. Cost is $100.

Loose Leash Walking: Aye, what do I have to do to get this dog to not pull? We'll discuss management, identify triggers and get right to work on developing more self-control and attention on leash.

Self Control: Chill, chill, chill no matter what. In this class we'll work on proofing your dog on movement, noise and many levels of distraction. The goal of this class is to develop your dog's ability to focus and relax rather than get aroused or anxious.

Recalls: Intense work on getting your dog to come when called plus we'll also teach your dog an emergency recall.
