Notes: This is truly Puppy 101! Geared toward pups 2 to 5 months, we capitalize on this most important stage of your puppy's development by focusing heavily on socialization, confidence building, and developing responsiveness. Lots of off leash play provides opportunities for puppies to learn appropriate dog-dog interaction skills and for you to learn what's okay and what's not when your pup is romping with a friend. We focus on getting it right from the start-each week we'll learn a new skill and discuss how to curb existing issues like crate training, housebreaking, mouthing and nipping, and jumping up, as well as how to prevent future problems like aggression. Semi-private class size (no more than 6 pups) allows for lots of individual attention and personalized instruction! Puppies should have two sets of vaccinations completed by the first class. Four 45-minute classes, with rolling enrollment-you start as soon as your pup is ready! Cost $75 ($50 for AWLA adopters) or $250 ($200 for AWLA adopters) for Puppy Primer + Adult Manners (you save $35; $285 if purchased separately). Adult Manners - 7 week class

Notes: Fun foundation manners for dogs 5 months and older. Curriculum includes : sit, down, stay, coming when called, attention, leave it/take it, and loose leash walking. In addition to teaching you the basic skills, we'll focus on establishing a relationship between you and your dog that is based on benevolent leadership, which helps both you and your dog stay successful even when class is over! Each week we'll also address a problem behavior or area of interest like jumping up or doggie body language. Semi-private class size (no more than 6 dogs) allows for lots of individual attention and personalized instruction! Dogs are required to be current on vaccinations. NEW! Intro to Agility for Fun - 5 week class

Notes: An introduction for you and your dog to the sport of agility! Agility is a great confidence builder and outlet for active dogs that keeps you and your dog working as a team. Refine your handling skills and teach your dog new tricks working with some basic agility equipment. Dogs should be proficient in basic obedience skills and current on vaccinations.
