OUR APPROACH
Teach the things that matter
We recognize that everyone has a unique journey with their dog. We provide training programs for a large spectrum of needs, and our passionate team ensures that every dog and their human’s individual needs are met, regardless of where they are in their journey.
Research-based methods for whatever your dog throws at you
We are integrative trainers that borrow from the world of ethology and neuroscience and offer a flexible relationship-based approach to training using body language, food, play, hand signals, words, movement, hands-on touch, and equipment to communicate with and guide the dog. Our ethos involves the integration of play-teaching chill-training (of course) - and biological fulfillment. We have compassion for the unique needs of dog-handler teams and offer a tailored, education-based approach.

Ingrid Faber
DAY TRAINING MANAGER
Ingrid is a Senior Trainer who has been working with dogs for over 25 years, rode horses in college, has been a dog groomer, and has even owned and trained ducks at one point. Her goal is to empower you to become the most successful dog-human team possible. Ingrid's compassion to meet you where you are “at” is obvious to all of the grateful clients that get to be on the receiving end of her coaching. PS She has a soft spot for pitties and has been a rescue advocate and adopter of some of the best heart dogs we have ever met.

Corrine Longenbach
BOARDING SCHOOL MANAGER
Do you like sharp, dry wit and dogs in hats? Then you have a lot in common with Corrine. Corrine manages our Boarding School program, will lovingly keep it real, and support you in those tender moments to make small adjustments or big changes to be the best human you can be for your dog. Corrine has a background in coaching and teaching competitive gymnastics, and when not working with dogs in our programs, you can find her on a sunset walk with her lab mix, Bruno, who is probably secretly a cattle dog.
-
Brittany Whipple
CLASSROOM MANAGER
Britt joined our team with years of experience in urban dog care, walking, and business management. If you don’t work with her in our day training program, chances are you will see her in classes or lessons. Her superpower is making your steps achievable and practical without overwhelm. She can help you troubleshoot off-leash recall, group dynamics, or build foundation manners for dogs just getting started or dogs that have behavioral challenges and need an adjustment. If you have a golden, it’s likely Britt will squeal in glee, just a heads up.

BOARDING SCHOOL
This ain’t our first rodeo. We spend hours a day observing, teaching, and learning from the dogs we get to call students. Together we have over 40 years of combined experience, working with thousands of humans and dogs since we began in 2003- companion, stray, purebred, rescue, mutt, street dog, puppy mill, fighting ring busts, feral, wolf hybrid- and a few horses. Our team is really committed to two things: bringing humanity to the dog training experience and results. As good as we are with dogs, we know that an educated and empowered human is our end game. And a life you love with your dog is pretty high up there too. 🧚
