Play w/ Jay Jack
A Two-Day Workshop with Jay Jack
Hosted by Opportunity Barks
January 2-3, 2026 | Sellersville, PA
Jay’s the kind of teacher who flips the lights on and leaves you blinking at everything you didn’t know you didn’t know. At Opportunity Barks, we care about what actually works—biologically, relationally, and under real pressure. That’s why we’re bringing Jay Jack back to the OPB community.
Jay doesn’t teach “play” as a party trick. He teaches the operating system underneath it. Drive. Control. Communication. Fulfillment. The relationship that holds it together when life gets loud. He’ll also open the door to GRC Dog Sports so you can begin learning and implementing with your own dog.
Whether you’re a trainer, behavior professional, or a dog person who’s tired of guessing, this workshop is built to punch holes in your old assumptions and replace them with something solid. And if you’re in rescue or working with what Jay lovingly calls the “murder dogs” (pitties, staffies, the big-feelings crew), you’ll especially want to understand GRC.
What This Workshop Will Do for You
Straight truth backed by biology.
You’ll see how drive, play, pressure, and fulfillment shape behavior long before any cue matters.
Candid conversations you won’t hear anywhere else.
Jay will challenge how you see dogs and how you communicate under stress.
Real-world application that sticks.
You’ll leave understanding not just what to do, but why it works—so you can use it with every dog you meet. This isn’t a toolbox polish, it’s an operating system upgrade.

Meet Your Instructor
The founder of GRC Dog Sports. The man who turned “play” into a biological and relational operating system. He’s a street philosopher scientist who's been pressure-tested in dogs, jiu jitsu, MMA, and life. Funny, sharp, brutally honest, and allergic to bullshit (our kind of people).
Play + An Introduction to GRC Dog Sports
Play isn’t a reward or a distraction; it’s an operating system. Learn how to leverage this.
This workshop shows you how real, biological play becomes the foundation for clarity, trust, and behavior that actually works in the real world. You’ll learn how to use play to build relationships, increase focus, and help dogs navigate pressure, excitement, frustration, and choice.
We’ll introduce the core principles of GRC Dog Sports (Gameness, Relationship, Control) and show how these concepts shape everything from everyday life to high-level training. This is where obedience stops being a list of positions and becomes a conversation your dog actually wants to have with you.
Perfect for all dog temperaments.
Perfect if you want to understand the dog in front of you at a biological level.
Perfect for pitties, staffies, and anything the rescue ever called “a lab mix”.
You’ll learn:
• How to use play to create genuine engagement and trust
• How to build drive without tipping into chaos
• How to channel frustration into clarity
• How to blend obedience and play so your dog understands you under pressure
• How the pillars of GRC shape behavior, fulfillment, and partnership
Whether your dog is nervous, over-the-top, or somewhere in between, this workshop gives you the tools to grow their confidence, deepen your communication, and build a relationship rooted in partnership, not micromanagement.
