Your dog.
Your trainer.
Let's get specific.

"I was often shaking my head with disbelief at what the one-on-one training with Opportunity Barks was able to get my girl to do when we sought help with her anxiety over vet visits and grooming. They were great about showing me how to reinforce the training at home, so I also feel more confident continuing the process. The team was amazing at not only showing us how to elicit the appropriate behavior we sought, but also in explaining the 'why' behind the process."

You're not looking for someone to train your dog. You're looking for someone to train you both.

Private lessons are for owners who want to be the person their dog looks to. You and your dog, one trainer, working on the specific things that actually matter in your actual life.

We watch. We assess. We give you a clear, actionable plan. Then we work on it together, in the studio, on your block, wherever the problem actually lives.

I’m considering Day School or Boarding School, but how will I learn if you take my dog?

Every immersive OpBarks program includes handoff coaching sessions with you.

We build the dog. Then we teach you to drive what we built. You don't get a trained dog handed back to you and left to figure it out alone.

The private lessons aren't an add-on. They're how we make sure the build sticks when your dog comes home.

So yep, we take your dog. And also yep…you absolutely learn, ‘cause that's the whole point.

Something changed with my dog, and I need some fresh eyes. Great, let's take a look.

Your pup is an OPB grad, and there have been some changes in your world. All good. Maybe it’s a new dog in the house. A recall that got rusty. Moving to a new neighborhood. Baby coming. The thing that was working stopped working.

One session with someone who knows what they're looking at. We'll figure out what shifted and give you a clear path forward.

Honest talk.

Private lessons are a strong fit for:
· Puppies and young dogs building foundations
· Knuckleheads — undertrained
· Mild reactivity 🌶️
· Graduates working through something specific
· Multi-dog households needing a reset

If your dog has significant behavioral challenges like deep reactivity, aggression, or fear that are affecting daily life, private lessons alone probably aren't the fastest path. That's where immersive programs win.

We'll always tell you which one is actually right for your dog. Even if it's not this. If you’re not sure…
