hey there Jerry's Bar Folks

We read dogs the way some people read wine labels.

It was great to see you at Jerry’s Bar Trivia Night!

  • Day School

Your dog spends the day with us at our Old City studio, where they’re not just burned out on play or drilled on cues. They’re being mentored.

We train in context, with clarity and precision. Inside city streets, busy thresholds, and real-world pressure. We shape dogs who can think, not just perform. Dogs who can hold the line without losing themselves.

This isn’t about “obedience.” It’s about building a dog that can stay in the game- curious, regulated, ready. It’s about helping your dog become a steady co-pilot in the life you actually live.

And you? You’re not on the sidelines. Each week, we pull you into the process. Show you what’s happening under the surface. Give yourself language, tools, and a presence you can feel working. We build your leadership while we build your dog’s.

We call it Manners & Mentorship. It’s 3–6 weeks of committed work—inside the studio, outside on the street, and inside the dynamic between you and your dog.

    Then comes the Flex Phase.

Most programs end when the real questions begin. Ours doesn’t.

Once you’ve got the foundation, the Flex Phase gives you a way to taper—not quit. To keep the scaffolding in place while you build the rest of the house. Lighter schedule. Lower frequency. Same precision.

This is dog training for people building a life, not just solving a problem.

  • Farm Dog Adventures

Modern dog life is loud. Fast. Confusing. Most dogs are expected to regulate in environments designed to dysregulate them.

    Farm Dog is the antidote.

It’s our off-leash training program and dog social club for graduates of our programs, or dogs who are new to us and ready for the real work.

Each Farm Dog day begins with secure transportation from city bus stops to our private, fully fenced countryside farm. Dogs local to the farm are dropped off directly. Either way, they’re headed to the place their nervous system’s been begging for: space, structure, and species-level relief.

This isn’t just “play.” It’s fulfillment with purpose.

    At the farm, we:
Practice real recall and refined off-leash fluency

Build leash and manners skills in a state of drive and calm

Reinforce co-regulation, group social literacy, and energy matching

Let dogs be dogs—and return to their humans more grounded, fluent, and tired in the right way

Your dog comes home fulfilled, smarter, and steady. Not just “tired”—fulfilled.

Membership is available weekly or monthly. Think of it as a rural nervous system reset—on repeat.

  • Boarding School

Our Board & Train program takes place at our private farm just north of Philly. Dogs stay with us for a few weeks of immersive training, decompression, and clarity-building. Every day includes structured reps in our indoor studio, off-leash hikes, targeted play, and mentor-dog socials—designed for nervous system regulation, not overstimulation.

    For Puppies:
A short, foundational stay to kickstart learning, introduce calm structure, and offer high-quality socialization—with stable dogs, nature trails, and real-life moments.

    For Teenage Knuckleheads:
We build communication, clarify expectations, and shape self-regulation—without crushing their drive or spirit. Focus areas: impulse control, play that fits their wiring, and restoring human relevance.

    For Dogs with Behavioral Challenges:
For dogs struggling with reactivity, guarding, or aggression, we start with biological fulfillment, rebuild trust and communication, and layer in adaptive strategies that actually transfer.

We begin with a Foundation Stay and graduates can return for short tune-up stays as needed—especially great when you’re traveling and want to come home to a dog who’s leveled up.

Boarding School isn’t just a break for your dog—it’s a recalibration.
They come home clearer, more connected, and more capable.
You come home to a dog who’s not just “trained”—but tuned.
And the best part? We don’t just send them back changed.
We show you how to meet them there.
